Seems Just Like Yesterday.

2nd Dec 2007 (my birthday!)

Ben arrived at 930am and while i was opening the gate, he was sort of hiding something behind his back. then TADAHHH~!

He gave me that with a small and simple birthday gift. Okay, some of you may think it is NOT a romantic gift but to me, it's sweet and UNIQUE. It's quite an unusual birthday gift. It's a fan. yeap, a fan. But hey, it's NOT a ceiling fan NOR is it the chinese fan you're thinking of. It's..

Well, after giving me the gifts and a quick peck, we decided to go out for breakfast with my mum with a lil quick detour to the market. we came back about an hour later and my mum.. *GASP* found the kittens. hey, i DIDN'T sneak them in okay? as much as it sounds like something i would do but the mummy cat who ATE my hamsters gave birth to those kittens in the bushes in my garden. Mum wasted NO time in grabbing one of those kittens and took a 10 mins walk to leave the kitty somewhere. OF COURSE i was upset about it, i mean it still needs its mum to SURVIVE! for some superstitious chinese, they see cats as the bringer of BAD LUCK, i see cats as animals. cute, furry ones. =/ so as i was about to reason with my mum, ben stepped in and ask me NOT to because it might trigger an argument and the rest of the day would be spoilt. so, well, feeling a little defeated, i went up to get ready. =/


(they are so adorable, i can't believe ppl think they bring bad luck. but for ancient Egyptians, cat is like their god.)


So, after about 20 mins, he insisted we take this picture..



Well, i can't help feeling a little vain can i? xD so off we went to midvalley. It's damn hard to find a parking spot in midvalley on the weekends. i am sure everyone knows it but we got LUCKY~! we found a PERFECT parking spot so near to the entrance to the gardens. =) owh well, we head to the cinema level to get our movie tickets since we didn't book the tickets. the queue was FREAKING LONG! when i saw the line, i almost wanted to cry. I had this bad feeling we MIGHT not be able to get the tickets and i was wondering if we should go to One Utama instead but considering the trouble that i might put on ben, we decided to stay in the line. i suppose we were lucky again! we got our tickets for the movie Enchanted. and the seats were pretty good except it was on the side. xD

So since we're both really vain creatures. We decided to camwhore all the way. =P

The both of us were to busy talking and tickling around that we actually forgot the time! 10 mins before the movie start, we rushed to the cinema like a train. =/ the line for pop corn and drinks were again, LONG! we had to give up the pop corn and drinks and went into the cinema. the movie started 5 mins after we secured our butts on the seat. ben was hungy when we were in the cinema, he came out starving! xD (ps: i knew u were craving for sushi king!) he suggested sushi king for "lunch" but i was stubborn on having the cupie cakes in D'Lish, so, since i was the birthday girl, teehee, he had to give in to me. =P and i suppose he didnt regret a single bit on it because the cupcake brings you directly to heaven.

The cupiecake wasn't filling enough and again ben said he wants sushi king. xD and so we went to the highest floor for the sushi king. *ps: tat was the restaurant we went for our 1st date*.. we talked and gossipped and..reminisce about our first date, it was pretty funny actually.. he forced me to eat some japanese peas.. i remember the look of horror on sandra's face when she saw me putting one into my mouth, it's like i'm eating something poisonous.

(i ended loving it and it's a MUST have each time i visit sushi king. sandra loves it too!)

after that, we have soooo much time to kill, coz ben said we have to leave at 715pm for our dinner. so he had to come along with me when i m buying beauty products. teehee. since ben has never been to the gardens, i suppose it's okay to just bring him to walk around. and of course, we chamwhored more. =P

I know we're vain and i'm VERY proud of our vain-ness but i think our vain-ness hasn't reach the extend of killing people or making people puke OR they end up have to spend a night in the hospital or something. =P ben being a typical guy, cant stand the tiredness of walking around for so long WITHOUT taking a seat so we lounged for awhile. =) and camwhored more. =P

JIN: She's all PALE. And I think... I THINK she's about to FAINT!
ME: WHAT...?!!! (other loungers were staring at me, ben was looking at me in panic)
JIN: SO CAN U COME HOME NOW?!

i was in a panic, i actually FORGOT my elder sister stays in the same area as i do.. and so i called her up.

ME: HEY, WHERE ARE YOU? *sounds a lil frantic*
JAC: I'm somewhere near home. why?
ME: SANDRA'S NOT FEELING WELL! GO SEE HER!
JAC: huh? ME: SHE'S ALL PALE AGAIN!
JAC: owh, i'll go and see her later then.
ME: . . . . . . . . . . .



something smells fishy. i mean jin rui sounded giddy, jac sounded dead calm and ben was joking while we were on our way home. i was like.. wat's wrong with u people?! someone's about to faint! and ben suggested a quick detour to secret recipe. though i SERIOUSLY don't have the mood to take the little detour, i suppose it wouldnt kill to go for awhile coz he wanted to collect my cake. so off we went. as i was walking in, he close my eyes and i was like.. "WAT THE HELL ARE U DOING?!" then i saw my family at a table. hundreds of question popped out my head. then i heard a crowd screamed "SURPRISE!!", i turned around and saw them. all my clossies. all the ones i love behind the counter. and the birthday cake came with the singing. i started tearing in happiness and whined to ben, "i TOLD u NOT to embarrassed me infront of the crowd!" and i was laughing at the same time too. i look a lil like a lunatic to be honest. =/

We planned to go mini genting after dinner but none of us really knew the way there so we thought of going to EoM (eye on malaysia) instead. CK and Pui Mun were the earliest to leave because they had stuff to do but i appreciate them coming. same goes for melody and darren who have their finals the very next day! so, the trip to EoM was just the few of us, me, ben, darren, sandra and jin rui, the rest couldn't make it coz of their own reasons but i appreciate them coming to celebrate my birthday with me. =) the trip to EoM was scary as none of us knew the way and everyone was relying on me, since i supposingly know the way until the heart institute in KL and from there i depend on kristine's guide to titiwangsa.. we got lost in the roundabout, we actually round for 8 rounds coz we couldnt find the bloody takawal or tawakal building coz it was so DARK! then ben took a lucky guess and we found our way. It was a little disappointing for us who has super high expectation. it was a lil boring but hey, we had fun camwhoring! =D
